JAMES 'JAMIE' BRAKE Weaver Workshop employee James "Jamie" Brake, 53, died June 18, 2009. Mr. Brake was a lifetime long resident of the Akron area. Mr. Brake was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Brake; and sisters, Jackie Ward and Carol Cunningham. He is survived by his brothers, Bill (Judy) Brake, Craig (Loretta) Brake, Doug (Heather) Brake, of Tallmadge and Terry (Darlene) Brown of Akron; sister, Michelle Smith of Spencer; aunt, Joann Ferris; nieces and nephews, Shawn Brake, Maggie and Stephen Murphy and Evan Smith; and friends, Paul and Wendy Sawyer. Mr. Brake was employed at the Tallmadge Weaver Workshop. Memorial donations may be made in Jamie's name to the Special Olympics, Attn: Memorial Donations, 1133 19th St., N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC 20036-3604.
