Elta M. Snider, nee Rex, 88, died Dec. 27, 2009.
Mrs. Snider lived in the Akron area all her life and was a member of the Tallmadge Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Mrs. Snider was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford Clark; son, Sanford Clark Jr.; sisters, Dorothy Lewis, Ruth Oborne and Edna Snyder; and brother in-law, James Snider. She is survived by daughter, Beth Ann Snider; sons, Dewaine (Joyce) Snider, Leonard (Angela) Snider, Carl (Cheryl) Snider and John (Laura) Snider; daughter in-law, Sharon Snider; sisters, Esther (Harry) Carmichael, Betty (George) Iles, Eileen Snider and Pauline (Robert) Phillips; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Donovan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
