The Letter Winner's Club, led by advisor Jeremy Huth, organized the annual Letter Winners Basketball Game Dec. 22.
Teachers played against athletic Letter Winners. Students paid $1 to attend the game with proceeds benefiting Christmas Families, sponsored by Student Senate.
During half time, the Leaders in Action Club led by Don Duffy and Jen Urycki, sponsored a "Pie Your Teacher in the Face" fundraiser. Students purchased tickets to see the staff member of their choice receive a "Pie in the Face."
Participating staff members were Principal Becky DeCapua, Assistant Principal Mike Householder, Jon Shomo, Mark Horner, Jeff Moyer, Joe Vassalotti, John Lenzo, Ike Holzapfel, Dan Gnabah and Mike Srodawa. Money raised from the fundraiser will go toward Tallmadge Relay For Life.
The following students participated in the Letter Winners Game: Kevin Barger, Gabrielle Lambacher, Anthony Tilenni, Dominic Wise, Mike Nicolino, Matt Wellman, Connal Kelly, Colleen Ferguson, Shane Gromley, Ian Colledge, Garrett Emling, Phil Emling, Brian Kilway, Dan Enos, Travis LeVan and Jen Demarco.
The following staff members participated in the Letter Winners Game: Arene Staszak, Erin Anderson, Darcy Domres, Jeremy Huth, Joe Vassalotti, Dan Gnabah, Mike Srodawa, John Lenzo, Dave Obney, Jeff Ferguson, Coach Mike Duve, Mike Falvy and Coach Jeff Manion.
