The Tallmadge boys bowling team finished seventh at a Division I sectional tournament Feb. 19 at Midway Lanes in Akron.
Akron Ellet, Cuyahoga Falls, Nordonia and Green advanced.
Nick Krainess finished third overall with a two-game total of 641 to advance to district play, which is scheduled to take place Feb. 25 at Twin Star Lanes in Kent. Krainess was one of the of the top four kids not on qualifying teams to advance.
Ryan Gonzales just missed qualifying for the fourth and final spot by five pins. Gonzales rolled a 626 series.
