On January 27th , seven local Tallmadge High School students turned some heads in the Cancer Society Relay for Life dodge ball fundraiser. The all day tournament consisted of 42 teams from all around the area. Every team insight of raising money for charity, but also to place in the 1st 2nd and 3rd prize money. Through out the thick field of competitive teams, no one expected a group of 15 and 16 year olds called the Young Bloodz to do as well as they did. Coming one game away from the Championship bout with no expectations of doing anything more than having some fun. The Young Bloodz finished in 4th place overall after just barely squeaking into the tournament by wining a wild card match. Team members consisted of Corey Armbruster, , Vince Giordano, Mike Difalco, Craig Siesel, Andrew Payne, Jake Mays, and Tyler Fortner.
