GERALD N. 'JERRY' GRAY
U.S. Navy veteran
Gerald N. "Jerry" Gray, 63, died at his home Jan. 25, 2008 after battling cancer.
A longtime Tallmadge resident and Tallmadge High School graduate, Mr. Gray served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Thomas A. Edison from 1962 to 1969 and earned a master's degree from the University of Akron. Mr. Gray's hobbies included golf and chess. He loved his family, friends and animals.
Mr. Gray is survived by his children, Dawn, Christopher, Tamara and Michael Gray; grandchildren, Gary Jr. and Dexter Cooley, Rachaell and Christopher Jr. Gray and Tyler and Alex Swisher, Hunter Gray and Haliegh Panther; brothers, Terry (Elaine) Gray, Robert Gray; sister, Linda (Mark) Meckly; nieces and nephews, Tara (Mike) Moore, Terry, Jr. and Ty-Ann Gray, Brian (Michelle) Gray, Michael (Becki) Gray, Erin and Taylor Meckly.
