As adults, we have the ability to inspire and educate our children more by what we do than what we say. Clearly, school volunteers do that.
With National School Volunteer Week just ahead (April 27 through May 3), I would like to take this opportunity to say "thank you" to the hundreds of parents, grandparents and other members of our community who give of their time, talent and skills in support of our students and staff. We rely on the help of volunteers to make things happen that would not or could not happen without their involvement.
We value the contribution you make and the example you set for our students.
