Frances Keen, 83, died surrounded by family on Dec. 6, 2013.
Born in Akron, she lived in both Akron and Tallmadge. She was a secretary at Goodyear Aerospace and then stayed home to raise her three boys. After raising her sons and several grandchildren, she worked at Giant Eagle for more than 15 years.
Preceded in death by husband, Clifford Keen; an infant son; parents, Grace and Max McClure; sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Frank Sample; sister-in-law, Martha McGunigal; and brother-in-law, Robert Buxton Sr., she is survived by sons, John C. (Joyce) Keen of Tallmadge, Mark C. (Debbie) Keen of Tallmadge and Brad C. (Georgia) Keen of Akron; sister, Jean Buxton; brother, Robert McGunigal Sr.; grandchildren, Jenifer (Jeff) Miller, Jessica (Ryan) Stanchek, John C. (Carly) Keen Jr., Joshua C. Keen, Felicia Keen, Mark C. Keen II, Kearstyn and Bradley Keen, Heather (Stephan) Sepelak, Christina (Jeremy) Loar; great-grandchildren, Haley and Kendall Miller, John Keen III, Allissa Bird, Reanna Sepelak, Jeremy Jr. and Allie Loar; and many nieces and nephews.
