James Lee Huffman

U.S. Navy veteran, The Chapel member,

enjoyed playing cards, classic cars

James, Lee Huffman, 69, died April 11, 2014.

Born in Akron, Mr. Huffman had lived in Tallmadge since 1990. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired in 1998 from Robinson Memorial Hospital with 30-plus years of service. He was a member of The Chapel in Akron and the VFW. He enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle, and was a classic car enthusiast.

Preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Mintern Huffman, he is survived by his wife, Karen's sons, Jeffrey (Melissa) Huffman and Brian (Missy) Huffman, all of Brimfield; sister, JoAnne (Bob) Thielen of Akron; brother, Bill (Charlene) Welch of Palm Beach Garden, Fla.; grandchildren, Logan, Jarred, Hope, Chloe, Seraphia, Katie, Kyle Paige and Brooke.

Donovan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
