Note of Appreciation: Thanks to all who help make the annual Circle Festival & Light Parade a premier event

Since its

debut

in 2010 through this, its fifth year, the Tallmadge Circle Festival & Light Parade has grown into one of the region's premier festivals, attracting over 15,000 people to the Tallmadge Circle area.

This year's festival was again a huge hit.

The band, Victory Highway, was enthusiastically received, as were the two additional acts of Melody the Magnificent (Melody Smith, a real magician) and Frank Chaff's "Voices of America" performance.

SpongeBob SquarePants, along with Tallmadge City Schools' Blue Devil mascot, were also on hand to entertain and pose for photos.

On behalf of the Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce, I'd like to thank our sponsors and volunteers. Without their support, this event could not take place. A special thanks to Event Sponsor, PNC Bank and Media Sponsor, the Tallmadge Express.

More thanks to Julia Euclide and Denise Lee from the Tallmadge Branch Library for all their efforts, and to our very own member, Rhonda Moffatt, owner of ChildScape, Learn & Grow childcare center in Tallmadge, who was kind enough to sponsor Outback Ray and his menagerie of wild animals.

It was a night for all ages and I hope everyone who attended enjoyed the parade and fireworks display.

Additional thanks go to Tallmadge city employees and police who ensured a safe and quality event for all.

And finally, one last "special thanks" to city administrators Mayor Dave Kline, Dennis Loughry, Brian Esler and Mike Weigand, as they worked for days securing vendors and organizing the logistics of the event's set up. Their support was invaluable.

Mary Cea,

Director, Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce
