Testimony continues in Craigslist killings case
Akron -- Jurors have heard testimony from three men who say they discussed an online job posting in person with a man now suspected of killing three other men lured by a phony Ohio job listing.
The testimony Feb. 27 at the Akron trial of 53-year-old alleged triggerman Richard Beasley came as prosecutors try to show robbery and identity theft were motives for the attacks. The jury also heard about statements written by the slain men in response to a job posting for a farm caretaker in southeast Ohio.
Beasley has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder and kidnapping charges.
His teenage co-defendant was tried separately, convicted and sentenced to life in prison. He has agreed to testify against Beasley.
The defense says there isn't enough evidence to prove Beasley committed the crimes.

Woman claims she was fired due to pregnancy
Springfield -- An Ohio woman has filed a federal discrimination complaint alleging the religious-based community organization where she worked fired her when she divulged she was pregnant.
The American Civil Liberties Union is also alleging a pattern of hostile treatment toward other women who became pregnant while working at Springfield-based Inside Out.
The ACLU and its Ohio affiliate say they filed a complaint Feb. 26 with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on behalf of Springfield resident Jennifer Maudlin.
Inside Out Director William Stout said Maudlin quit voluntarily and was not fired. Stout also says there is no discrimination against any pregnant employee.
Stout adds the agency is a Bible-based Christian organization and would not allow any person having sex outside of marriage to work with children served by the organization.

Concession prices drop for Indians games
Cleveland -- A hot dog and a beer will cost less at Cleveland's Progressive Field this year.
So will nachos, pretzels, popcorn, pizza and bratwursts.
The Cleveland Indians announced the rollback of concession prices Feb. 28. Team president Mark Shapiro said it came in response to fans who have called for more affordable food and drink at the ballpark.
The team said hot dogs will start at $3 -- a 33 percent reduction -- and 12-ounce domestic beers will be $4, a drop of 24 percent, during the 2013 season.
Prices of nachos, pretzels, popcorn, pizza and bratwursts will drop by 25 percent. Plus, soda refills will be only $2.
Plus, the number of $1 hot dog nights at the stadium will increase to 15 -- six more than last season.
