Women sought for local sewing group

Women are being sought for a local sewing group which meets every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those who can cut and stuff are welcome, in addition to those who can sew. For more information, contact Charlotte Fisher at 330-592-4442.

Babysitters in training

Seven girls attended a two-day American Red Cross Babysitter's Class at the Tallmadge Recreation Center Nov. 22 and 23. These future babysitter's learned the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children. The next class offering will be on March 28 and 29.

The Tallmadge High School social Studies Department hosted the annual Veterans Breakfast which took place Nov. 4 at the school. Thirty five veterans attended the breakfast where the THS show choir performed the Star-Spangled Banner and Taps.
