Sandra Marie Bochert is engaged to Mark Thomas Chasteen.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Rick and Rose Bochert of Tallmadge. She graduated from Tallmadge High School in 2000; the University of Akron in 2004, earning a bachelor's degree in early childhood education; and Kent State University in 2009, earning a graduate degree in early childhood education. She is employed by Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools as a teacher.
Her fiance is the son of John and Patricia Chasteen of Grosse Pointe Shores, Mich. He graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School in 1999 and Michigan State University in 2004, earning a bachelor's degree in packaging. He is employed by Newell Rubbermaid in Mogadore.
A June wedding is being planned at the First United Methodist Church in Akron.
