Wrestlers move to 4-0
The Tallmadge Middle School wrestling team improved to 4-0 in the Suburban League after earning a commanding 72-13 win over Nordonia Jan. 8 on the road.
The following Tallmadge wrestlers won:

• 92: Alex Williams pin
• 104: Justyn Rhine pin
• 110: Tristin Mollahan forfeit
• 116: Foster Zalar pin
• 122: Logan Rapini pin
• 128: Chris Musci forfeit
• 134: Connor Fox forfeit
• 142: Dimitri Fortseras forfeit
• 150: Dan Hepler pin
• 205: Devon Manning pin

Tallmadge placed second at the 10-team Innes Duals Jan. 5 at Kenmore High School in Akron.
Tallmadge lost by criteria despite a 36-36 tie with Akron Buchtel in the final. Tallmadge posted wins over Innes/Ellet (60-22) Barberton (57-27), Doylestown Chippewa (72-12) and Manchester (73-15).
Tallmadge had several wrestlers place in the top four at an 11-team individual pool tournament Dec. 29 at Waterloo High School in Atwater.
