The Tallmadge girls bowling team fell to 6-3 on the season after losing a narrow 1,997-1,962 decision to Ellet Jan. 16 at Turkeyfoot Lanes in Akron.
Nicole Kreitzburg led the Lady Blue Devils with scores of 164 and 203, respectively, and Jennie Kiss (174-184) was next. Also competing for Tallmadge were Abby Collins (126-140) and Madison Stock (97-116).
The Lady Blue Devils posted a 1,296-1,138 win in the junior varsity match.
Brooke Collins led Tallmadge with scores of 104 and 142.
The Lady Blue Devils lost a 1,954-1,801 decision to Nordonia Jan. 14 at Midway Lanes in Akron.
Faring well for Tallmadge were Kreitzburg (140-158), Collins (138-154), Kiss (148-133) and Stock (131-111).
The Lady Blue Devils were scheduled to bowl against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy and Akron Our Lady of the Elms Jan. 18 at Midway Lanes.
Results were not available at press time.
Tallmadge is set to host Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary Jan. 24 at Eastgate Lanes before heading to Midway Lanes to face Akron East Jan. 25.
Both matches are scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m.
