The Tallmadge girls basketball team got a big scare from Nordonia Jan. 31 on the road, but the Blue Devils pulled out a 41-34 win.
Tallmadge improved to 13-4, 8-3 in the Suburban League with the win ahead of Saturday's home clash with Wadsworth.
Forward Mary Ryan led the Blue Devils with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while point guard Kelsey Rice had 11 points.
