Senior football players Logan Banks and Bryon Cook recently signed letters of intent to continue their academic and football careers on the collegiate level.
Banks, an inside linebacker, signed at the University of Mount Union in Alliance. Cook, a free safety, signed at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea.
The three-year starter led the Blue Devils with 104 total tackles, including 11 tackles for a loss in 2012. He also had three sacks, two passes defended and one fumble recovery. Banks is undecided about his major.
Cook, who plans to major in engineering, finished with a team-leading nine passes defended. The two-year starter also had 16 total tackles and two interceptions.
Tallmadge finished the 2012 season with an 8-3 record. The Blue Devils also reached the Division II playoffs.
