The Tallmadge boys cross country team placed eighth with 207 points at the 2013 GlenOak Golden Eagle Invitational Aug. 24 in Canton.
Boardman won the 18-team competition with 72 points. Louisville finished a close second with 74 points and GlenOak took third (114).
Boardman's Mark Hadley won the race with a time of 15 minutes, 36.1 seconds. A total of 145 runners competed.
Patrick Ferguson led the Blue Devils with a seventh-place time of 16:31.7. Teammate Brian McGovern was next for Tallmadge in 13th (16:40).
Rounding out the top seven for the Blue Devils were A.J. Zesiger (34th, 17:27.2), Zach Murray (71st, 18:09.3), Nick Penix (87th, 18:30.1), Sam Kirkbaumer (112th, 19:19.7) and Jake Cole (121st, 19:51.9).
