The Tallmadge boys cross country team finished 10th with 253 points at the 19-team Midwest Meet of Champions Sept. 28 at Hilliard Bradley High School.
Dublin Jerome won the competition with 69 points and Boardman (106) and Olentangy Liberty (136) finished second and third, respectively.
Boardman's Mark Hadley placed first out of 130 runners with a time of 15 minutes, 15.29 seconds. He won by more than 19 seconds over the second-place finisher.
Patrick Ferguson led the Blue Devils with a fifth-place time of 15:44.26.
Rounding out the top five for Tallmadge were Brian McGovern (31st, 16:34.53), Nick Murray (48th, 16:50.44), Chris LaMancusa (61st, 17:00.5) and A.J. Zesiger (114th, 18:03.2).
Brin Stralka was the lone Lady Blue Devil to compete. She finished 23rd (20:05.55) out of 66 runners.
