The Tallmadge girls soccer team earned a 2-2 draw with Suburban League rival Green Oct. 2 at Rossiaky Stadium.
Tarah McCausland scored on a high shot from outside the penalty box to give the Lady Bulldogs a 1-0 lead less than nine minutes into the game.
But the Lady Blue Devils (5-7-1, 1-4-1) tied the game a little more than 10 minutes later.
Alyssa Garbinsky dribbled down the right side and crossed it to Sammy Williams in the middle. Williams finished to tie the game at one.
Green (5-6-2, 1-4-1) took a 2-1 lead when Kristen McCausland scored on a high shot just outside the 18-yard marker.
Again, Tallmadge countered when Williams scored her second goal of the game just four minutes into the second half.
Amanda Kilway got the ball on the left side and crossed it to Garbinsky on the opposite side. Garbinsky then fed it to Williams, who drilled a line drive into the net with her right foot.
The Lady Bulldogs had an 11-9 advantage in shots on goal and a 9-2 edge in corner kicks.
Lady Blue Devils goalkeeper Annie Drechsler made 10 saves in the nets. Green keeper Haleigh Seman stopped seven shots.
