The Tallmadge softball team improved to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the Suburban League after posting a lopsided 15-0 victory over Copley April 16 on the road.
The game was called after five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.
The Lady Blue Devils scored four runs in the first, eight in the second, one in the fourth and two more in the fifth.
Tallmadge finished with 18 hits and no errors. Copley had one hit and no errors.
The Indians (0-6) got their only hit with two outs in the bottom of the fifth when Sami Smalley ripped a single to right field.
Lady Blue Devils' right-hander Kirsten Lightel went the distance in the circle. She finished with 11 stirkeouts and did not issue a walk.
Lexi Philen had four hits, including a double, three runs scored and a run batted in.
Sierra Bennett finished with three hits, including a double, three runs scored and three RBIs.
Joanna Catalano also had three hits, three RBIs and two runs scored.
Mackenzie Gershom finished with two hits, including a double, an RBI and a run scored.
Brittany Wakefield added a two-run triple and Lightel had a run-scoring single.
