Tallmadge girls track team places second in Ravenna

The Tallmadge girls track and field team finished second with 91 points at the 12-team Frank Rossi Valkyrie Tournament in Ravenna.

Highland won the competition with 103.5 points and Ravenna took third (73.5).

The following Lady Blue Devils placed in the top eight:

• 100 meters: Alexis Malish, sixth, 14 seconds; and Emily Schott, seventh, 14.1

• 200: Hallie Allen, fourth, 1:04.6

• 800: Amanda Peters, third, 2:37.8; and Mandi Ranaldi, sixth, 2:43.4

• 1,600: Brin Stralka, fifth, 5:35.6; and Nicole Rinaldi, seventh, 5:47.6

• 3,200: Mary Hillegas, third, 12:18.8

• 100 hurdles: Brittney Harris, first, 17.2

• 300 hurdles: Harris, first, 49.8; and Rochelle Haught, fourth, 52.7

• 400 relay: Brielle Cleary, Sarah Kosir, Kelsey Rice and Emma Brown, eighth, 56.5

• 800 relay: Kosir, Julia Schreck, Brown and Rice, seventh, 1:57.9

• 1,600 relay: Allen, Ally Warmenhoven, Sadie Bennett and Maddie Fairchild, first, 4:22.4

• 3,200 relay: Mandi Ranaldi, Peters, Stralka and Jacquelyn Brown, first, 10:21.9

• High jump: Lexi Zehner, second, 5 feet, 1 inch

• Long jump: Bennett, fifth, 15-7
