The Lady Blue Devils improved to 1-0 with a lopsided 10-1 victory over Massillon Aug. 20 on the road.
Tallmadge led 5-0 before the Lady Tigers finally got on the board.
Riley Chochola led the Lady Blue Devils with three goals and three assists and Rochelle Haught scored twice. Alyssa Garbinsky, Alyssa Yamokoski, Kylee McCracken, Katie Hussing and Sara Johnson each scored once for Tallmadge. Garbinsky's goal came from 35 yards away.
The Lady Blue Devils had a 20-3 advantage in shots on goal. Massillon's lone goal came from Aubrey Lightfoot.
"The girls played a great game," Tallmadge head coach Steve Davis said. "They moved the ball very well in one and two touches. Maryn Montgomery had a great penalty-kick save in the second half to deny Massillon a second goal."
