The Tallmadge boys soccer team suffered its first loss in 2016.
The host Blue Devils fell to 5-1-1 overall and 1-1 in the Suburban League American Conference after losing to Copley 6-0 Sept. 13 at Thomas Rossiaky Stadium.
The Indians (5-1-1, 3-0) had a 3-0 advamtage at halftime.
Copley outshot Tallmadge 23-0 and had an 8-0 edge on corner kicks.
Blue Devils' goalkeeper Tommy Kilway made 16 saves.
Tallmadge earned a 2-2 draw with Canton South Sept. 10 on the road.
The Blue Devils (5-0-1) trailed 2-0, but they rallied back, thanks to goals by Nick Hussing and Mitch Makuch.
Hussing received a well-placed free kick from Justin Betts and headed the ball into the net for Tallmadge's first goal.
Makuch scored his goal on a penalty kick.
Kilway finished with two saves as Canton South had a 4-3 advantage in shots on goal and a 3-1 edge in corner kicks.
The Blue Devils were scheduled to visit Ellet Sept. 17 in Akron. Results were not available at press time.
Tallmadge is set to visit American Conference rival Barberton Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.
