The bad news is the Tallmadge girls soccer team is still seeking its first Suburban League American Conference win.
The good news?
The Lady Blue Devils haven't lost an American Conference game yet.
Tallmadge earned a 2-2 draw with American Conference rival Copley Sept. 14 on the road.
With the tie, the Lady Blue Devils remained unbeaten in 2016. They were 4-0-3 as of press time and are 0-0-2 in the conference.
Riley Chochola scored for Tallmadge, which also got an own goal to tie the game at two.
Lady Blue Devils' goalkeeper Maria Kisha made six saves. Copley had an 8-6 advantage in shots on goal and a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.
Tallmadge earned a 2-0 victory over former Suburban League foe Cloverleaf Sept. 12 in Lodi.
The Lady Blue Devils, who had a 1-0 lead at halftime, got both goals from Sara Johnson.
Tallmadge had a 9-4 edge in shots on goal and an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks. Kisha made four saves in the nets.
The Lady Blue Devils were scheduled to visit Rootstown Sept. 17. Results were not available at press time.
Tallmadge is set to host American Conference rival Barberton Sept. 21 and Akron Our Lady of the Elms Sept. 24.
Both contests are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Thomas Rossiaky Stadium.
