As of press time, the Tallmadge girls soccer team had nearly as many draws as it had wins.
Thankfully for the Lady Blue Devils, they still didn't have any losses.
Host Tallmadge earned a 3-3 draw against Suburban League American Conference rival Barberton Sept. 21 at Thomas Rossiaky Stadium.
Sarah Johnson, Danielle Gregory and Allie Warmenhoven scored for the Lady Blue Devils (5-0-4, 0-0-3). Warmenhoven's goal took place on a penalty kick.
Riley Chochola added an assist.
The Lady Magics, who earned a 3-2 win in the junior varsity contest, had a 10-9 advantage in shots on goal. Tallmadge had an 8-0 edge in corner kicks.
Lady Blue Devils' goalkeeper Maria Kisha made seven saves.
Tallmadge posted a commanding 7-0 victory over Rootstown Sept. 17 on the road.
Rochelle Haught had two goals and Chochola and Johnson each had one goal and one assist for the Lady Blue Devils.
Kylee McCracken, Lauryssa Ridenour and Gregory each scored once for Tallmadge, which had a 15-4 advantage in shots on goal.
Both teams had one corner kick. Kisha made four saves in the nets.
The Lady Blue Devils were scheduled to entertain Akron Our Lady of the Elms Sept. 24. Results were not available at press time.
Tallmadge is set to host Woodridge Sept. 26 before heading to Medina to play American Conference foe Highland. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
