Tallmadge girls soccer team earns fifth draw of the season

The Tallmadge girls soccer team has this tying thing mastered.

Unfortunately for the Lady Blue Devils, they are still seeking their first conference win

The Lady Blue Devils earned a 2-2 draw with Suburban League American Conference rival Revere Oct. 5 at Joseph Pappano Stadium in Bath Township.

Sara Johnson had a goal and an assist for Tallmadge (8-1-5, 0-1-4) and teammate Riley Chochola also scored.

Lady Blue Devils goalkeeper Maria Kisha made four saves in the nets.

Tallmadge had a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal. Both teams had three corner kicks.

The host Lady Blue Devils posted a commanding 8-0 victory over Akron Firestone Oct. 3.

Chochola led the way with three goals and Johnson had two goals.

Rochelle Haught contributed one goal and two assists and Alyssa Garbinsky and Adison Onchak each had one goal.

Kisha made three saves in the nets. Tallmadge backup keeper Maryn Montgomery also made one save.

The Lady Blue Devils had a 19-4 advantage in shots on goal. Both teams had four corner kicks.

Tallmadge is scheduled to entertain Norton Oct. 10 and Aurora in its American Conference season finale Oct. 12. Both contests are set to begin at 7 p.m.
