Gymnasts fare

well in Geneva

Several gymnasts from Flytz Gymnastics competed at the All-Around Challenge, which concluded Jan. 29 at the Spire Institute in Geneva.

This meet featured thousands of gymnasts from several states.

Tallmadge residents Mary Green, Megan Reifsnyder, Grace Kostko and Kate Archer.

Green and Reifsnyder are Level 7 gymnasts. Green placed first on vault with a score of 9.725, second (8.7) on bars, second (9.25) on beam, first (9.3) on the floor exercise and first (36.975) in the all-around competition.

Reifsnyder placed second (9.4) on vault, third (9.175) on floor and second (34.475) in the all-around standings.

Green and Reifsnyder helped their team win the Level 7 competition.

Kostko, an Xcel Platinum gymnast, also helped her team take first place, along with placing second (9.325) individually on the floor.

Archer, a Level 4 gymnast, finished third (8.6) on vault, second (8.6) on bars, second (9.4) on beam, third (8.6) on floor and second (35.2) in the all-around standings.
