Tallmadge girls track places fourth at Bill Barry Invitational

The host Tallmadge girls track and field team placed fourth with 86 points at the seven-team Bill Barry Invitational April 8 at Thomas Rossiaky Stadium.
Rocky River won the competition with 111 points and Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary (108) and Highland (99) finished second and third, respectively.
Sara Johnson led the Lady Devils with a first-place finish and two second-place finishes.
She won the long jump with a height of 15 feet, 8 inches.
Johnson took second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.63 seconds and the 200 in 27.27.
Brittney Harris won the 100 hurdles with a clocking of 17.05.
Johnson and Harris also joined Madison Tasich and Alexis Malish on the winning 400 relay (51.87).

• 800: Ravyn Edge, third, 2:36
• 1,600: Edge, fifth, 5:39
• 100 hurdles: Vanessa Lane, fourth, 17.62
• 300 hurdles: Tasich, third, 49.41
• 800 relay: Harris, Malish, Karaniah Rolli and Tasich, second, 1:51.69
• 1,600 relay: Rolli, Edge, Jill Catalano and Evelyn Passarelli, sixth, 5:33
• 3,200 relay: Claire Cate, Morgan Moses, Kaitlin Meadows and Ashleigh Hughes, fifth, 12:01.3
• High jump: Vanessa Lane, second, 5-2
• Long jump: Catalano, sixth, 13-5
• Shot put: Jessica Gardella, sixth, 27-5
• Discus: Ashley Lane, sixth, 82-10
