The Tallmadge baseball team salvaged a split with Suburban League American Conference rival Copley after posting a commanding 9-0 victory over the Indians April 12 on the road.
The Blue Devils had a 1-0 lead heading into the fifth and then busted loose in the final three innings.
Tallmadge scored three times in the fifth, once in the sixth and four more times in the seventh.
The Blue Devils (7-3, 2-2) finished with eight hits and two errors. Copley (4-1, 4-1) had four hits and two errors.
Jared Burick pitched six innings to get the win on the mound to improve to 4-0 in 2017. He struck out four batters and walked three.
Seth Gergely led Tallmadge with two hits, including a home run, and two runs batted in.
Mikah McGlaughlin had a triple and an RBI and Zach Boyd and Garrett Sands each had a single and an RBI.
