Tallmadge girls track places third at Aurora Invitational

The Tallmadge girls track and field team placed third with 92 points at the eight-team Aurora Greenmen Invitational April 13 at Veterans Stadium.
Highland won the competition with 128 points and Aurora took second with 108 points.
The Lady Blue Devils won three events.
Brittney Harris won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.38 seconds.
Ravyn Edge captured the 1,600 with a clocking of 5:38.79 and Sara Johnson won the long jump with a leap of 16 feet, 1 inch.
Other Tallmadge athletes who placed in the top six are as follows:
• 400 relay: Madison Tasich, Alexis Malish, Johnson and Harris, second, 51.86
• High jump: Vanessa Lane, second, 5 feet, 2 inches
• 100: Johnson, third, 13.06
• 800: Edge, third, 2:30.68
• 1,600: Kenna Loveless, third, 5:42.73
• 300 hurdles: Tasich, third, 51.09; and Vanessa Lane, fourth, 52.35
• 200: Johnson, fourth, 27.05
• 800 relay: Harris, Malish, Karaniah Rolli and Tasich, fourth, 1:57.68
• 1,600 relay: Rolli, Edge, Jill Catalano and Evelyn Passarelli, fourth, 4:31.87
• Long jump: Catalano, fourth, 14-10
• 3,200 relay: Claire Cate, Morgan Moses, Chloe Heestand and Ashleigh Hughes, fifth, 11:52.15
